A jack of all trades, Buggzy Hoffa has conquered business and plots his takeover on the musical charts.
Born Brandon Wilson in Brooklyn New York, he is now the up and coming star, Buggzy Hoffa in the spotlight of hip-hop. Hoffa, while making a name for himself in the music industry, is no stranger to the entertainment world as a creative. Being a part of a family of entertainers, he has had the benefit of being in the industry for over twenty-four years. His knack for winning at anything he ventures into wasn’t a future foreseen from his young age, as Hoffa, a geek that attended Holy Rosary Elementary School and John Dewey High School in Gravesend, BK, never graduated and never got his GED. But, when you’re destined for greatness, and manifest it with your mindset and passion, no past can stop what is to come in the future. Hoffa had all the traits of a leader, and it shone as time progressed.
With his father being a stage manager on one of the most popular televisions series, The Cosby Show, Hoffa earned a position as an extra at the age of 6. Feeling a deep calling to the entertainment industry, he soaked up everything there was to know. His brothers, Rameses Wilson aka ‘Trill Cosby’ and Charlie Wilson, had deep connection within the music industry, and Hoffa used every benefit to his disposal. He continued his pursuit in the film industry, but music quickly became the leading role in his life.
Hoffa’s resume in the industry is as extensive as they come, having successful businesses in Real Estate, Waste Disposal, Crypto Currency, Stocks Trading and Personal Management. In 2010, he owned award-winning speakeasy, Dutchkills Bar, and continued at the top in 2012 with the PKNY Tiki Bar in NYC. He is also a published writer for #1 Stand alone comic book Gekido vs. Code Name: Justice vs. Ravedactyl featuring Ice T’s wife, Coco in 2018. After playing himself in the Friday 13th Vengeance movie and later becoming a character in the Official Friday the 13th Video Game, Hoffa went on to create his group , ‘Black Diamond Mafia’ later that year in 2019. The group, formed in Brooklyn, comprised of Entrepreneur/Rapper Buggzy Hoffa, The Rockstar Jai-ho The Golden Child, Boastful Trill Cosby, Charismatic 2CaNn and The Wavy Mr Tony Blu. Upon the release of their debut single “Superfly” in September 2019, their sound spread like wildfire. Following up their hit debut with the single “Fire Hose,” it has since hit 1 million views on YouTube, charted Top 50 iTunes Hip Hop Singles and Digital Radio Tracker Top 10. The success of their singles placed them on Eric B Music Group Sony Orchard’s radar, who signed them in September 2020. Coming off their new deal, they released lead single ‘Head Bussa’ which trended at number 27 on the Top 50 Hip Hop R&B Spins in October 2020.
Hoffa isn’t one to slack off with success. Soon after in November, he released his debut solo single ‘Pray On.’ The track speaks on the current state of the world and all that has been happening, expressing raw emotions through the fluid track with Hoffa laying lyrics and flows bar after bar. The track is already making its way across fans nationwide and running up streaming numbers. Hoffa’s thirst for creative freedom has brought him the inspiration to strive for freedom with anything he pursues. He has a lot more in store for his fans, and it promises to be just as, and even hotter than what fans have heard since. Follow his socials and stream his music via the links:
