7Seven’s New Heartbreak Thriller, “Blind” Is Poetry in Motion

Telling a tale of heartbreak through his new single “Blind,” 7Seven hopes to be an advocate that saves men from getting broken.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, a then 13-year-old 7Seven built a connection with hip-hop through studio sessions with his father. The sound of Emo rappers like Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd, XXXTENTACION, Rod Wave, and Lil Peep, inspired him to master the craft himself and become an artist that can touch lives. By 2018, both feet were in the door and the music industry was in for an artist that had a purpose to his voice – to spread awareness and be a beacon for men’s mental health.

Seeing the nonchalant attitude of society towards the struggles and stereotypes men face, 7Seven wanted to bring change for the future. His style of Emo rap is raw with emotion and passion that speaks on the wrongs men endure. Where the industry, artists, and blogs neglect the importance of the subject, 7Seven walks bravely, with intent in his heart and courage in his voice.

Employing emotional and impactful lyrics dipped in vocal creativity, his music radiates empathetic vibes that speak to audiences. This is heard in songs like his new single, “Blind” which finds inspiration in his own experience with heartbreak. 7Seven knows what it’s like to be blind to a girl’s actions towards him and let emotions keep him wanting love from the same person causing him pain. That story is one many are trapped in but still holding on to something they should let go. “Blind” is a beautiful masterpiece that is not only a hit, but also a template and example of what not to do when faced with a lover who shows the opposite of love. When 7Seven says “I can’t accept where we are. Cause I want you forever, yeah girl I mean forever, I don’t mean as part-time, I mean live our lives together,” he’s telling you his mistake so you can get the message to walk away and leave the past behind to become a better you.
