MoneyboyMarkk has long been living a life some only rap about, and he makes his presence known in his single “Message.”
Born and raised in the North side of Flint, MI, 16 year old rapper MoneyboyMarkk has climbed his way from the depths of the streets into the hip-hop spotlight. He wasn’t far from the music world, having a father, Young Kee, one half of the group Skanbino Mob. Unfortunately, at the young age of 2, Markk’s father lost his life at the height of his career, and while still enduring the loss of his father, Markk would lose his mother 13 years later to COVID-19. Without anyone to call his own, Toas of Comatose Entertainment, a street legend himself, became a father figure to the future star, raising him and mentoring his path.
MoneyboyMarkk was fighting his way through the poverty riddled streets where he resided, seeing an escape through a career in sports with his athleticism. Due to twist of circumstances, an injury to his shoulder in varsity football, put an end to that fate, and instead turned his attention wholeheartedly to music. MoneyboyMarkk was already in the industry due to his family background, recording his first song “Straight to it” when he was 15. Markk quickly became an artist on the rise expanding to a wide array of skills that made his artistry something more than the regular artist trying to make it in the rap game. An emcee, song writer, and producer, Markk has built a fanbase that continues to grow daily.
Now that he’s established himself in the rap game, he is further promoting hits like his debut single, “Message” which is a testament to his determination and grind. Message is just that, a track directed to everyone in Markk’s way, haters and opps alike, calling out fakes and pulling G cards from those claiming to be something they’re not. MoneyboyMarkk holds a special talent, and it is visible in the lyricism and flows juggled over the aggressive instrumental. Bars on bars, raw, real, and expressive, Markk holds nothing back in making a splash in the industry, letting the game know that a new contender has arrived for the throne.
MoneyboyMarkk has hit the ground blazing with his single, “Message.” As he continues to build his YouTube channel and increase followers on Instagram and Facebook, “Message” is only the first of many tracks to come from Markk.
