The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has awarded Carter Davis, an Oregon based songwriter and musician who is known under the artist name NORD, for six Gold certifications and three Platinum certifications. His songwriting success originates from his repeated collaborations with Pop and Hip Hop artists Rebecca Black, Drake, 21 Savage, Addison Rae, and Ice Spice.

The rising rapper and artist’s most recent notable songwriting effort was his large contribution to revived Pop singer and feminist icon, Rebecca Black, and her debut LP titled ‘Let Her Burn’. More than five-million listeners around the world have heard the joint-project between Carter (NORD) and Rebecca, and the general perception among music reviewers and critics has been overwhelmingly positive thus far since the release, earlier this year in February.
Carter Davis is now attending a university in his home state, studying audio engineering alongside managing humanitarian projects that are in the interest of the furtherance of global societal equality. In addition, he is frequently releasing original tracks under his artist name NORD on major music streaming services, to much success.
