Young M.A has reportedly checked herself into rehab.
The 29-year-old Brooklyn rapper is said to have entered a treatment facility for an unspecified addiction. According to various reports, she shared the news in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“MAB I’ll be back…boutta lose this addiction…omw to rehab,” she reportedly wrote in her caption.
She also shared a message on Twitter asking God to help her in her recovery. “Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure,” she tweeted. “Give me such confidence in the power of your grace that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.”
It’s unclear what kind of addiction Young M.A is battling. According to The Shade Room, fans believe she may have a drinking problem, which she alluded to in her music.
“Man, I’m Henny’d up, Styrofoam / Call this bitch my sippy cup / High as shit, pissy drunk / Prolly f**k my kidneys up,” she raps on “Henny’d Up” off her most recent album Off the Yak.
Fans took to social media to share their well wishes as she seeks treatment.
