The Washington, D.C artist Keph Swag was heavy on the grind the entire 2020, and the Swag Lingo mixtapewas the starting point of everything to come. The lead single Won’t Stop got the Swag Mobb fans amped-up with excitement, but that was only the beginning of his win streak.
His Black Lives Matter inspired track Stay Together aired on the local news (DMV Sound Check) following a sit-down interview with the young artist. The coverage was a great look for Keph and allowed his listeners to hear another side of his musical versatility.
If that wasn’t enough, he also decided to take full control of his music by starting an independent record label of his own, Swag Mobb Entertainment. The first single released on SME is a solo track titled Young Rich Gangsta, available on all streaming platforms as of mid-December.
With plenty of accomplishments to be thankful for this year, the future looks brighter than ever for the young phenom. On that note, we would like to congratulate Keph Swag on becoming Raptology’s 2020 Artist of the Year.
