Cardi B continues to open up about her divorce from Offset.
After addressing their split on Instagram Live last week, the “WAP” rapper went live on her OnlyFans on Wednesday night to explain why she decided to divorce her husband of three years.
Cardi said it was her decision to end the marriage. “You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave,” she said, according to Vanity Fair.
Offset has been accused of being unfaithful in the past, but this time, she decided to call it off before he cheated again. “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
“I just got tired of fu**ing arguing,” she added. “I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I rather just be… you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m tired of people.”
Since filing for divorce, Cardi says men have been sliding into her DMs, but she’s not looking for love. “My DMs are flooded. I don’t actually want to date nobody. I’m so focused on my business that it’s crazy.”
Last week, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, saying the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” However, she told fans that she has “not shed one tear” over their separation.
“Every single time that this guy has done something so crazy, so fu**ed up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, I’m always stressed out, I’m sad because I don’t like that type of shit,” she said. “This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that shit that ever happened before. It’s not ’cause of cheating.”
Cardi also denied rumors that Offset is expecting a baby with another woman. “I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole fu**ing complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullshit.”
She and Offset will continue to co-parent their daughter Kulture and Cardi will not seek spousal or child support.
