Zilla Cartel Releases “Top Down” off His Forthcoming Album “Monsters Do Exist”

As he gears towards the release of his album, “Monsters Do Exist,” Zilla Cartel has given fans something to whet their appetite while they wait with the release of the “Top Down” single

Every day, new talents emerge while old ones resurface in the music and entertainment industry. The tale of  Zilla Cartel is that of an old talent resurfacing and ready to be restored to glory even greater than the former. Zilla Cartel has decided to release “Top Down” for his fans to munch on as they await the release of his “Monsters Do Exist” album.

“Top Down” by Zilla Cartel is a single crafted with so much expertise and the quality befitting an artist like Artist Name. It is a testament to the fact that Zilla Cartel is not in the music industry just to fill up space but set his imprint on the sands of time. According to the Zilla Cartel , “I want people to know I am an authentic artist. I’m here to leave my artistic imprint on the world with no filter, only doing things as I choose.”

Zilla Cartel started his hip-hop journey when he was nine years old. He was fascinated by MCs at the time, such as Rakim and Big Daddy Kane. Zilla Cartel was enthralled by how these MCs dressed like dope boys and had loads of cash, jewelry, and women yet were poetic masters. Today, Zilla Cartel draws inspiration from legends such as Big, Nas, Jay-z, Big Pun, Scarface, Raekwon, The Lox, and more.

During his formative years, Zilla Cartel was involved in many rap battles where he gained a name for being a vicious lyricist for his sound and delivery. After high school, Zilla Cartel made music but conducted himself more into the street lifestyle, getting himself involved in things that caused him to stray away from the path. Nevertheless, he continued music and released his first mixtape in 2012, titled “Nice to Meet You.”

Before long, Zilla Cartel suffered a health challenge that got him out of the music loop. Although for the independent act, what seemed like a setback was actually an opportunity to work on himself, plan for his future, and develop his skills. Overcoming the health scare and getting over people who turned their backs on him, Zilla Cartel affirms he has found courage and strength and is conscious that he owns his destiny and its outcome.

“Top Down” by Zilla Cartel is now available on digital streaming platforms such as Tidal, Spotify, and iTunes. The “Monsters Do Exist” album is scheduled to be released on Halloween, and Zilla Cartel has plans to release two more singles before the album’s release.
