Big Willow Taking Over Film and Music Distribution With His Streaming Platforms for Independent Artists

William H. McKinney III is one of Detroit’s very own mover n shakers that has been materializing his dreams of innovating the music and film industry. Under his alias, Big Willow, he has found inspiration from legends before him that elevated Detroit to the level of popularity that it has in the industry. Pioneers like Motown Founder Berry Gordy left the blueprint for modern day creatives like Big Willow to continue the fertile Motown legacy and that’s exactly what Big Willow did. Following in Berry Gordy footsteps, he aims to help Independent Artists and Film makers own their own path and create an independent Mainstream avenue.

Big Willow has to date produced 15 independent films, partaking in the Michigan Film Industry and revolutionizing the independent film Boom with his Detroit Classic film, “CornerStore” Directed by Joe Doughrity. He has been credited with energizing the Detroit film industry with a major level networking event known as the Michigan Film Gala.

Big Willow’s also takes the lead with conceptualizing themes and subject matter for iconic Hip Hop Guru Brother, J of the X-Clan and Music Executive Producer of actor turned artist Brandon T Jackson, his new album, “DAWID DANCE.”
